Decorating Part Two

It seems like an age since I had time to sit down and write a post. The past seven weeks have quite literally flown by in a whirlwind of decorating, puppy mishaps, work and freelance craft projects – it’s safe to say that the Easter bank holiday weekend couldn’t come soon enough!

Over the past few months, we’ve been decorating our second guest bedroom which is affectionately now known as ‘the study’. Jason primarily uses it as his office, but it also functions as our main guest bedroom when we have people to stay.

Christmas Tree Decorating

This year we were a little late in putting out tree up – I have to admit we’re struggling to get into the Christmas swing of things – we’ve just been so busy with one thing and another, it seems to have arrived all of a sudden, anyone else feel the same way?

Ickworth Park

For the past few days Jason, Murphy and myself have been up in Suffolk visiting my parents, and having a little mini break, and my gosh have we needed it. It’s not until you stop and actually switch off you realise how tired you are and in need of a few good afternoon naps (which I’ve been sure to fit in!).

Cork Memory Board

After finishing painting our dining room chairs, I had some of the paint left over, and not wanting it to go to waste I decided to spruce up a fruit bowl that we don’t really use. I picked it up from Sass and Belle in London a couple of years ago, I love the heart shape but I’m now not so keen on the colour, so decided to turn it into a memory board using lots of corks!

It has been a busy few weeks in the Cluitt/Green household, I’ve been busy preparing for our Christmas (!) shoot at work, organising and doing all manner of Christmas-ey makes, whilst trying to occupy an ever playful, nearly five month old puppy.

Hence the lack of posts, however I’ve got lots of new project ideas that I’m itching to try out, so there will be lots more posts to come in the not too distant future!
